About this archive

This is a free archive of workshop manuals, parts catalogues and service data for classic motorcycles built up to 1995. It exists so that old machines can be repaired instead of scrapped.

How the files were made

The documents are scans from private collections. Where a scan had no text, it was read with OCR in German and English so every page can be searched. OCR makes mistakes, especially in photocopied pages and parts diagrams, so check part numbers against the picture before you order.

Images were reduced in size so pages open quickly. Pages look slightly softer than the originals but stay readable on screen and in print.

Years

The year is taken from the file name where it is there. A year marked c. was inferred from the other manuals in the same model folder or from a copyright line, and can be off by a few years.

Rights holders

Manuals this old are often still protected. If you hold the rights to a document and want it removed, write to kontakt@classicmanuals.de with the page address. The file is taken down promptly.
